Who We Are

A church rooted in Franklin, built on faith, and always making room for you.

Our Story

Grace Community didn't start with a grand building or a big budget. It started with a handful of people who believed that loving God and loving their neighbors could change a community — one family at a time. For over a decade, that simple conviction has shaped everything we do.

Pastor David Thompson and his wife Sarah have led Grace Community for 12 years, and their heart has never wavered: they want to see families grow in faith together. Whether you're raising toddlers or empty-nesters rediscovering purpose, whether you've been in church your whole life or you're walking through our doors for the very first time — you'll find that Grace Community is a place where real people show up, lean in, and do life together.

We're non-denominational, which means we're not bound by tradition for tradition's sake. We hold tightly to the timeless truths of Scripture and hold loosely to everything else. Our worship is contemporary and casual, our conversations are honest, and our community is genuinely warm. We don't have it all figured out — but we're on the journey together, and we'd love for you to join us.

Our Heart

Mission & Values

Everything we do flows from one simple mission: to love God, love people, and make disciples in our community.

Love First

We believe love isn't just a feeling — it's a practice. Every person who walks through our doors deserves to feel genuinely seen, welcomed, and valued.

Growing Together

Faith was never meant to be a solo journey. We're committed to helping every person at Grace Community take their next step — no matter where they're starting from.

Family-Centered

Families are at the heart of Grace Community. From our children's ministry to our small groups, we build spaces where every generation can encounter God together.

Real Community

Genuine connection doesn't happen in a crowd — it happens in a circle. Small groups are where belonging goes deeper and friendships become family.

Scripture-Rooted

The Bible is our foundation and our guide. We teach it practically and honestly, because we believe God's Word has something real to say about everyday life.

Community Impact

We're not just a church in Franklin — we're a church for Franklin. Serving our neighbors and making a tangible difference in our city is central to who we are.

Our Beliefs

What We Believe

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the creator of everything, infinitely good, and deeply personal. He isn't distant or indifferent; He is actively present in the world and in your life.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human — that He lived a perfect life, died on the cross in our place, and rose from the dead three days later. His resurrection isn't a metaphor; it's the cornerstone of our faith and the reason we have hope.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God — trustworthy, relevant, and alive. We don't read it as an ancient rulebook but as a living guide that speaks honestly into real life, real questions, and real struggles.

We believe every person matters to God, and every person needs grace. Salvation is a free gift — not something you earn through being good enough, but something you receive through faith in Jesus. No past is too broken and no starting point is too far.

We believe the Holy Spirit is God living and working in the lives of believers today. He guides us, comforts us, gives us strength we don't have on our own, and transforms us from the inside out over time.

We believe the Church isn't a building — it's a people. Grace Community exists to be a gathering of imperfect people who love God, love each other, and invite the world to experience the same. We're better together than we ever are alone.

We believe this life isn't all there is. God's plan has always been restoration — a future where everything broken is made whole. That hope shapes how we live today, how we treat each other, and why we take our mission seriously.
